Club 10E updated risk assessment

24 July 2021

 VERY IMPORTANT.
Further to the tragic death of a rider in the Seamons open 25 last weekend, we have reassessed the risk assessment for our Wednesday evenings TTs Club 10E course.
In future we STRONGLY recommend that all riders use a flashing front light in addition to the compulsory rear light.
We also have decided that there must be marshals and warning signs at the junctions near to High Legh garden centre i.e. 2 junctions with B5159 and junction almost opposite with Halliwells Brow.
We, therefore, MUST have at least 9 marshals (3 at each roundabout and 3 at junctions mentioned above). There are only three Wednesday night TTs remaining.
Please volunteer to marshal at one, two or all of these Wednesday evenings by replying to this post.
If you are one of our many regular (and highly valued) marshals could you please also confirm which dates you are definitely available and where you will be marshaling (but please be prepared to marshal at any of the three marshaling places).
Sorry but if we do not have 9 marshals we will have to cancel.

Paul Barber (TT Secretary)
